Made Me Chuckle...

Oh Happy Days Oh Happy Days…. *if you’ve seen Sister Act II, you know which song I’m singing to with this one*. I’m happy today because I’m reading super hilarious post from these bloggers:- 1) http://danielfranklingomez.com/blog/2009/02/25/ash-wednesday-the-start-of-lent/ Daniel is really something… I was chuckling to myself reading on what he’s abstaining himself from this Lent… I for one have no intention to abstain which I’m sure being a Catholic ought too… I’ve tried in previous years to abstain from Meat like him but to no avail failed miserably… I couldn’t abstain from *making Love* either… that’s a definite No No… Maybe I should, not abstain though but decreased my blog-hopping time… yeah that sounds achievable… what else: emmm… I can’t think of anything maybe I’m being super obnoxious in declaring that so far everything that I do is all in moderation but to abstain from something is like …. Hmmm… 2) http://mrbadak.com/2009/02/25/how-to-judge-your-erection-hardness/ I...

Important Things iN Life!!!

* Received this again via e-mail from longlegs and decided that it's a good lesson to be shared with all. Sometimes we sweat the small stuff and forgot to cherish the most important things in Life.* The Mayonnaise Jar & 2 Cups of Coffee When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 cups of coffee . A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was. The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was. The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the...

Who's colored Now?

*I received this via e-mail from longlegs... I was informed that this poem was nominated by UN as the best poem Written by an African Kid... Enjoy as I did:-)* When I born, I black When I grow up, I black When I go in Sun, I black When I scared, I black When I sick, I black and when I die, I still black And you white fellow When you born, you pink When you grow up, you white When you in Sun, you red When you cold, you blue When you scared, you yellow When you sick, you green And when you die, you gray And you calling me colored?

Life's Like That

I wanted to post about this article , where it has given me hope that there are still people out there who knows that WINNING isn’t everything… I wish people every way are more like that… why nowadays not only in Politics but even in family or in our careers, those things existed… the things I know now have literally opened my eyes to the evil, sick world that we live in… why is it so important that ME, ME, ME needs to win??? Why can’t we live peacefully without these evil wicked needs suffocating us??? Why can’t we build our country for the good of our people and not ONLY some people??? Why can’t you rise in the corporate ladder by your own merits and not because of somebody’s influence etc??? I’ve been sucked into all these… we all are!!! I love my life… as I have my husband and my children… my home is my only haven… stepping out of my haven you will see a different persona of me… I have to… we have to do what we got to do to survive in this fast-pacing, cutthroat world… if you don’t...

The Unknown Scares Me

H: Kyran kena HFMD. M: Are you serious? H: Yes. Daddy bawa him to see Doctor Tan just now ‘coz he saw 2 blisters in his mouth. M: Ok. I simply cannot function after that as I was scared. I heard that Hand, Foot, Mouth Disease is very common in children but then the unknown always scares me. I remembered last Saturday, son shared spoons of rice with Dania (I fed my son together with my GodChild who is only 2 years old). I gave a call to my niece and asked how Dania is doing. She has high fever, my heart goes thump thump thump… “Girl, please check for any blisters or spots on her mouth, hands and feet. Kyran kena HFMD so I’m scared, she also kena infected.” That is why we always need to educate ourselves to things we’re not familiar with. I went browsing for HFMD *Thank Goodness for the Internet and The World Wide Web!*. Basically HFMD is common and there’s no cure for it. What we need to do is to ease the blisters, itchiness and warmness… Give him lots of water to drink, cooling water i...

Better Be A Girlfriend, A Mistress or Just A Wife?

When you've been married too long: Three women -- one engaged, one married and one a mistress --- are chatting about their relationships and decided to amaze their men. All three buy black leather bras, stiletto heels, and masks for their eyes. After a few days, they meet over lunch to compare notes. The engaged women says: The other night when my boyfriend came over, he found me in the black leather bodice, tall stilettos, and a mask. He said, "you are the woman of my life. I love you". Then we made love all night long. The mistress says: I met my lover at his office and I was wearing the leather bodice, heels, mask over my eyes and a raincoat. When I opened the raincoat, he didn't say a word -- but we had wild sex all night. The married woman says: I sent the kids to my mother's house all excited about having alone time with my husband. Had the lights dim, candles going, I was wearing the leather bodice, black stockings, stilettos heels and a mask over my eyes.A...

Coretan Minggu V...

being bored

When you’re surrounded by intelligent people, you tend to let them control the flow of the activity and I’m *with open arms* glad to be handing it to them. I don’t have to crash my head in thinking of ways and ideas to sell… the only bad thing would be that I’m bored… I know I should at least input things especially when you want to impress but then to impress is not the top in my agenda now. Usually during meetings and workshops such as these especially when the mood is not there, the only best thing would be to imagine stuff in the mind. I for one would feast my eyes on whoever falls on the good looking category: be it a woman or a man but for this instances, I have none at all. Next thing would be playing sms with hunky but then it seems he’s too busy to entertain me… boohoo… so the third best thing would be to put my thoughts into words like now. My baby eh silap my small boy *he’ll be angry when I say he’s my baby*, is coming to 4 years old now… although through his growing years ...

Deaf FroG - A Lesson.

Primp might say that this morning was a BMW or baby making weather… It’s cold and raining super hard… It was really hard for me to drive to the office today especially when everywhere cars were crawling to their own drivers’ destination but thankfully I got to my destination safely. Have no idea what to post today but the hands are itching to tap on the keyboards. Do you know the story about the deaf frog? I heard the story from my Niece years ago. I look for it in the net and found it here. A group of frogs were traveling through the woods, and two of them fell into a deep pit. All the other frogs gathered around the pit. When they saw how deep the pit was they told the two frogs that they were as good as dead. The two frogs ignored the comments and tried to jump up out of the pit with all of their might. The other frogs kept telling them to stop, that they were as good as dead. Finally, one of the frogs took heed to what the other frogs were saying and gave up. He fell down and died...

4th post

I’m so super bored… it shows with this emm 4th post of the day… I’m kind of multi-tasking actually… I have my e-mails on, my office phone is accessible as well as my handphone… the internet connection is working so everybody who wants to find me should be able to so here I am tapping my keyboards away in MS-word. My left ear is occupied with music. I wished I could use both my ears but then my colleagues couldn’t get my attention by just calling out my name instead they had to wave their hands (yeah both hands) at me… next week should be a bit busy with Monday and Tuesday filled with Advert n promo workshop… Hope it will be interesting… What should I babble about? Yesterday son told us that he was pinched by a fat boy. FIL assumed that the boy is the Indian boy and in my head that Indian boy is thin not fat, actually to think deeper about it, none of the boys neither the girls are fat. So today hunky told laoshi (teacher) what son told us. Laoshi asked which boy and Son pointed at th...

Kame Hame Haaa!!!

Yeah yeah couldn’t wait for my cute rambut terpacak Son Goku gracing our Sony at home although I know we will only get to watch months after its release…. sobSobSob… I remembered this is the ONLY comic book that I’ll wait patiently every 2 weeks or was it once a week release back when I was in KL. Every Sunday, Hunky and I will visit the mamak store to check whether Dragon Ball is already out then I had to wait for hunky to finish reading them then I’ll get my turn… Last December, hunky nearly wanted to throw all the comics fortunately he listened to my pleas ‘coz sometimes I do need to enjoy them again… usually I’ll start from the first to the last comic series in one go which need almost a week… the last time I enjoyed them was before I had Kyran and that was ages ago maybe it’s time to read them again to refresh my memories on the storyline… Dragon Ball is so super syiok and my nephew can swear to that because that’s how he learn to read super fast when he was 6 or was it 7… hmm no...

Why I Love my Office-Mates...

We had a get-together with my colleague last Jan and one of them, Bungsu won an Air-Asia Ticket so today he went browsing for destination:- Along: Apa lagi yang ko browse browse nie? Bungsu just kept quiet and Angah yang meng- interframe:- Angah: Dia cari tempat mo buat second one… Bunga: Kalau mo buat mesti buat jauh2 kah? Angah: ya mesti… Along: Pigi Singapore lah nnt di buntut ada ‘Made in Singapore’…

Down Memory Lane...

When I was in my Primary School days, the only concern I had was to finish all my homework before the last school bell rings. I often completed all my homework during recess. I can’t remember me doing any of my homework at home. As far as I can remember if I had morning session then the afternoon at home will be spent me taking my afternoon nap and then when the heat was bearable, I went outside playing. The usual ritual for afternoon session would be waking up at around 9am, take my breakfast and immediately get ready for school as my auntie van staying next to us fetched me at 10 to 10.30am. arrived at school then I usually finish all my pending homework. That was my life: free from worries… I love my secondary school days, that’s where I find myself active in sports: hockey, netball and basketball… that’s where all the puppy love experiences are the sweetest. I remembered every single sweets wrappers, chocolate wrappers and even all the aluminium drink cans were kept as mementos fr...

Another 5 Months to go...

We’ve been praying for Blessed and hoped that everything goes smooth and well… I know that it’s not the usual me as the usual me will SHOUT at the top of the world to announce the BLESSED news. Yeah it’s not me at all… if it’s up to me, no one in my office will know that I’m blessed but then my manager asked me whether I am and of ‘coz I can’t deny right. So when he knew and being him: he announced it to our unit and only he clapped to it… My in-laws just knew about Blessed a few days before my manager asked me the Q. And of ‘coz I had to tell my mom because my in-laws and the office know the news… My sis was a bit hurt I supposed ‘coz I didn’t inform her. It’s just the thing that I had in me… I was scared that the same thing is going to happen to us again so I kept mum about it… but again I’m not denying Blessed’s existence… I’m scared and I don’t think I can handle another loss. I’ve been praying and keeping faith that everything will be. I had my BP checked with sinsang on the 28th ...

Saying I Love U

I sms SanBro this morning:- Morning Dy... Hari ni kah or tmrw tat ur bday? Anyways... Happy Birthday! May all u wish n thrives for come true in buckets full. Love u : ) This is his reply:- O thks! Tmrow, but better earlier that never! Love u The thing is I can't for the life of me remember saying verbally or written I Love u to him before or any of my brothers for that matter... We've never been that kind of open with our feelings. I can't seem to understand why all of a sudden I've become transparent... I suppose it's a good thing. I think he sort of knew that I Love him but I suppose it's a given that you will love your own kin right? but again can you postively say that your siblings love you??? care yes but love??? Love is such an abstract thing!!! Receiving his reply was such a jumpstart to my day... It's funny but true... This is my brother who sent Congratulation Card when I scored 4As in PMR (or was it UPSR)... and YES I still keep it... This is th...
