Sniffing Our way To Mr Right!

Wow! We’re attracted to the opposite gender via our sniffing… that’s somewhat hilarious but it does make sense… The study was published in the British Journal thingy so it must be true… I wonder how I smell and attract Hunky to be my genetic partner in crime? *scratch head* Or does it applies to women only? The article said that women are instinctively attracted, via their sense of smell, to men who have a dissimilar genetic makeup. It said that earlier research has found that parents with similar gene profiles can result in difficulty trying to conceive a child, an increased risk of miscarriage and a weaker immune system… hmmm… interesting right!!! My Ma & Pa must have gotten everything right ‘coz they produce eight healthy and clever offspring “this is angkat bakul sindri!* in my own case: not sure yet!!! This comes to my next question. So what is genetic make-up? From this site : How you experience emotional stress, anger, or depression may also be influenced by your genetic mak...

Olympic Fever...

Okay I’m not really a fan of Olympic but when you were informed that Chong Wei is going to play for Gold/Silver then of ‘coz you need to be glued to the Idiot Box since 6.30pm just not to miss the game… unfortunately Lin Dan from China is in his top performance. He easily beats Chong Wei 21-12, 21-8… My hunky didn’t dare watch it ‘coz he said he can easily have a heart attack… Congrats to you Lee Chong Wei !!! You made us proud! *clapClapclap* I have a favorite Japanese Table Tennis Player. She’s so cute… Her family name is Fukuhara. Just googled her and found this . Isn’t she cute? Whenever she managed to score points, her hand clenched to her heart and she shouted a small but still loud *hiatch* or something sounded like that… She’s so adorable and when she plays… her whole attention to the game at hand… seriously I love to watch her play…

13 and 3 years MilesTone

Today marks the 13 years into our relationship. We basically grow matured together. Him to a loving, some-what protective husband and daddy. Me to a some-what obedient, dotting, loving wife and mother. When I look at him, I thank my God for blessing me with this wonderful person in my life. He will do whatever I ask him to do just to make me happy. The recent sweetest thing he did was last Saturday night. My hunky is a bit shy and he doesn’t like to be in the spotlight. I asked him to bring me to the dance floor during the wedding Reception. I just asked him once and he saw the longing in my eyes and said “oklah”. I had my first slow dance on the dance floor for the first time in nearly 4 years (the first and last time was during our wedding reception). I know it’s very hard for him to be in the dance floor but he did because he loves me and that’s enough to give him strength. Today, our son is three years old and it has been three short blissful years of being parents. I remembered my...

kUngFu PanDa, AnT bUlly and LiOn kInG...

I know I’m so ‘ketinggalan zaman’ but I just watched KungFu Panda the other night and had learnt a very important lesson. When son is old enough, I want him to watch it too and hope he will learn the lesson as well. The only question that pop out of my head right now is why do we need other people to have faith in us first then we find the strength to do what needed to be done? Can’t we have our own belief that we can do it? It’s the same with me… I’ve been lamenting about my weight since ages ago but it seems that my weight is playing with me. I’m still in the kgs of last month… can’t I just believe in myself that I can do it? Why must I needed to be cajoled by people around me to start believing that I can do it… how come in my better days I can refrain and eat what my body needed but often I failed and eat more than my body need to. This is so tough!!! I’m so in envy with size0 hence the nick because she’s a size 0. she didn’t eat rice for 3 whole months and dropped her weight… toug...

Make-Up

Size0: Look at the sales girl on your right. Berabis kan dia pakai make-up. Me: ya ohh... So that remarks by Size0 had me curious on why do women wear make-up? Don’t they feel beautiful just the way they are? How did peeps from ancient times have the idea to wear make up? Initially I hated to wear make-up. I never wear make-up until I was forced to when Sultan made his famous remarks of me looking pale etc so I started playing with make-up. Nowadays, at least lipstick gloss my lips whenever I’m out of the house to the market etc because I’m afraid I might accidentally meet sultan in one of my outings. I did some browsing and it seems that in ancient Egypt, they use eye make-up called Kohl to ward off evil spirits and improve eye sight. In the Middle East, make-up was used to disguise the real look in order to mislead or cause un-controlled desire. Make-up was considered to have health benefits in South Asia. In China, they stain their fingernails from around 3000 BCE where the colors u...

7 Wonders

Okay I have been tagged by val (Thanks Ms Val) and I better do it now or I might forgot all about it so here goes the seven wonders of Me:- *Please note that these 7 wonders are from my own point of view… I have a childish and somewhat high-pitched voice (when I’m excited)… My colleagues had to tell me to control my voice during the TM Carnival last month because it hurts their eardrums… Aril told me that if I were to wear a high school uniform, I can still pass as one because of my voice…. Duhhhhhh I can multi-task quite well: listening to music on my left ear while my right ear is listening to the person at the other end of the phone and my hands typing whatever needed to be typed (sometimes I get dizzy when I was doing this!!!) I’m still madly in love with my high-school sweetheart. Tomorrow, 16th August marks the 13 years of our love story… we can never predict what tomorrow brings but I pray that this love story will never end. I have very oily hair that needed to be washed and im...
