patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record or wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves."
...1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Love is such an abstract thing. Is it love when he utters those sweet words to you every day? or is it love when he kisses you goodbye everyday before he leaves for work? or is it love when he lends his ears to listen to your rantings and ramblings? It is up to the beholder how they interpret 'love'.
For me, love shouts out loud when he looked me in the eyes with a smile on his lips
For me, love shines through when he dried the blood from losing our baby, the tears and pain in me was also felt by him.
For me, love is when at the last hour, I suggested an impromptu Open House at our home and he agreed. A few hours later, drove the family to buy tidBits and items needed. The next day, He was the one who woke up early, went to the market to buy necessary things. He came back and prepared the house. Did the cooking and became the perfect host for my family. Am I blessed? yes I am... and that is what I called LOVE... its the action... not words...
