2 weeks...

Has it been two weeks??? Gosh, I really didn’t feel the time passes… Sun Up Sun Down, and lo and behold it’s 2 more weeks with this sticky and oily hair of mine. That’s my concern during my confinement month: no washing of me hair and no tap water to come into contact with. The second concern is because I can’t freely do housework like washing the dishes, do the laundry etc. well actually I can do all those mentioned if I wore gloves but it doesn’t feel the same. For now I’m taking advantage on my Hunky… Kasian!!! Hunky: 2 more weeks… OMG, it means another 6 weeks before I have to go back to work… that I’m not looking forward to. We haven’t decided where we should send Kyle when we’re out working. I heard that Taska Flora is ok but I also heard from a little birdie that it’s not… well I better have a look at it myself… this is so difficult : to find suitable nursery to send Baby Kyle… Mom has volunteered herself to take care of him but I just couldn’t because mom is 69 years old and it...

When Two Worlds Collide...

We’re caught in the middle… my mom is a Kadazan and my in-laws are Chinese… my mom said I cannot consume wined chicken soup until Kyle is a month old or when his umbilical cord falls down. My in-laws are adamant that I consume wined chicken soup for the whole confinement month. It boggles the mind why mom is suddenly against the wine??? I didn’t have this problem during my eldest son *I love the sound of that – my eldest son*… I know I’m fully breastfeeding and the probability of Kyle getting the ‘lihing’ in his blood is high but I did read in the internet that the alcohol might evaporate when they’re cooked… I see Kyle is active from time to time and lucid… his big eyes looking at me asking things that I cannot decipher yet… I’m no mind-reader… Que sera sera… What ever will be will be… My mum requested to be sent home today because she can't stand witnessing her daughter consuming the 'soup'... *Loud sigh*... I'm tired thinking of pleasing both parents... I just told m...

Where's My Baby Brother?

"Where's my Baby Brother?" That’s what my eldest son said when he came in to visit us at KK Specialist. Yes beautiful people, at last my counting has stopped with the arrival of our additional bundle of joy precisely a week ago. Thank you for all your prayers! We’re truly Joyfully Blessed! Name: Kyle John Calvin DOB: 8th July 2009 Time: 4.55am Weight: 3.3kg Kyle has his daddy's nose "invisible eyebrows" My eldest son, Kyran ensuring his baby brother is well taken care by his Odu!

Pre-Labor Signs

1) Backache 2) Cramps 3) PMS Symptoms 4) Nesting Urge 5) Frequent Soft bowel movements 1,2,3 & 5 checked. I have been having them since last week. No nesting urge though: I’ve been like a TOTAL PRINCESS. Hunky have been commenting that I’m more ‘manja’ with everything had to be completed by him even drying me after I had taken my bath. I’m seriously enjoying my pregnancy state. Had contractions on and off which are really frustrating especially when the thought that this is it doesn’t come true. Take example of last night: I had a serious backache and my contractions were really troublesome and I thought that this morning would be D-Day but I was wrong… When I was with Kyran: I can’t remember feeling agitated with the waiting game. Most probably because I didn’t experience the pre-labor symptoms at all: no Braxton C, No 1-5 signs indicated above. I woke up one day and found spotting on my undies and came the next morning, my water broke and it all happened ...

sTill Counting...

Been teleworking since last Thursday… I love teleworking especially in my condition when the urge to lie down can be fulfilled in mere minutes. I was nauseated and had diarrhea last Wednesday and had decided to go home early. Come Thursday I was still a bit nauseated and my head was pulsating so it was an easy decision to make. It’s not like I’m not working at home because I am. Thank you for the internet and handphones, people can still reach me if they want to. Today marks the 39th week of gestation and Blessed seems pretty comfortable in me… Blessed is active: sometimes I couldn’t sleep because there he is changing positions ohhh so often… here I thought that we’re going to welcome our new bundle of Joy earlier than his EDD but hmmm I guessed I’m wrong… Braxton C comes and go… Menstrual Cramps come and go as well… just be patient!!! Patient!!! A Boy Or A Girl At first you moved, only a little. I could always find you, right in the middle. As time went on, you really started to grow....

The clock is ticking… rather slow I extremely exaggerated… If only my boss knew what I’m up to now… I just can’t wait for Blessed to make his debut!!! My mind is totally not at work… I’m working when there’s e-mail with my utmost urgent attention, for now I’m procrastinating… I’m praying very hard to our Good Lord to give me PATIENCE… lots of them!!! On another Green Eyed Monster note: my colleague whose EDD is a week later than me has given birth to a baby boy last saturday.... SO JEALOUS!!!
